APG, the world’s leading network for Airline Distribution and Financial Services, is pleased to announce that Malaysia’s Malindo Air, an International Air Transportation Association (IATA) member, as well as a recent winner of CAPA’s 2016 Asia Pacific Regional Airline of the Year, is the latest airlines to join the APG IET (Interline E-Ticketing) “hub”. Through APG’s IET network, 84,000 IATA and ARC travel agencies (in over 100 BSPs and ARC) will be able to issue tickets for Malindo Air via Interline E-Tickets through Global Distribution System (GDS).
At the same time, Malindo Air has appointed APG offices in 22 countries as their General Sales & Services Agents (GSSA), specifically in the USA, Canada, UK, France, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and South Africa. APG will be providing full sales and marketing services through its offices and call centres. With this, travellers get to plan their trip with more options for their travel in Asia and Australia as Malindo Air, the Malaysian full service airline who offers dual class seats on their jets, covers 46 destinations in 16 countries in the region. The fleet itself has grown exponentially to 16 ATR72-600 and 29 Boeing 737NG as of 1 Sept 2017. Today, the airline operates over 800 flights weekly across a continuously growing network of about 46 routes in the region.
